“Life is full of fractures: it’s what we make of them that matters. Beauty can be born in brokenness, imperfection can be interesting, and asymmetry can lead to unity.”

Marcus personally makes each object. He starts without knowing quite where a piece will finish, working with his materials and method to make metaphors. The result is that each vessel or sculpture is unique, while staying faithful to his theme. He deliberately makes objects with cracks—some obvious; some more subtle, depending on the light to reveal the detail.
